Each month, Friends of Welaka hosts a social afternoon at Sugar Mill Woods Apartments as part of our ongoing community outreach. Volunteers bring refreshments and spend time with residents playing a few fun rounds of bingo, complete with a $10 gift card prize for the final winner!

We also help keep the on-site pantry stocked with food for residents, thanks to generous donations from the Welaka community and support from Friends of Welaka. It’s a small gesture that brings big smiles—and we’re grateful to be part of it!

We hold our socials the second Tuesday of each month. Let us know if you would like to join us or donate non-perishable food!
