Join us on November 13th at the picturesque Ever After Farms in Pomona Park for an evening of elegance, entertainment, and heartfelt giving. Our inaugural Gala Fundraiser promises a delightful experience complete with gourmet dining, live music, thrilling raffles, and engaging auctions.

Programs That Will Benefit From Your Support
The proceeds from this event will directly benefit Friends of Welaka’s service and programs including:
- Maintaining 3 feral and community cat feeding stations 2x/day each and every day
- Hosting a minimum of 40 Children’s Garden Activities and related field trips
- Spaying or neutering 100 Welaka area cats through our established TNR program
- Distributing welcome bags to new residents of Welaka
- Holding resident socials each month at Sugar Mill Woods
- Maintaining a food pantry for the residents of Sugar Mill Woods
- Holding a town-wide cleanup each quarter with Keep Putnam Beautiful
- Hosting 2 cat adoption events
- Cleaning the headstones at Oakwood
- Cemetery with the JROTC twice a year
- Co-hosting 2 movie nights with the Welaka Police Department
- Participating with Helping Hands with an annual backpack giveaway
- Hosting Candidates’ Forum prior to each town election
- Providing Thanksgiving turkeys or gift cards to needy residents
- Hosting Christmas Party for Welaka’s children with personalized gifts
- Creating annual scholarship for deserving student
- Co-sponsoring Farmshare Food
- Distributions with Helping Hands
- Volunteering each week in the after-school program at Middleton Burney Elementary
- Co-sponsoring the Fishing Rodeo
